  1. When installing Koat-A-Roll®, wear a long sleeve shirt and gloves to protect yourself from the heat of the oven and the product.
  2. Begin by placing lengths of Koat-A-Roll® in a convection oven at 200°F, for 5 to 10 minutes. By heating the Koat-A-Roll®, it makes it easier to apply it to  your roller. Even if an oven is not available to you be sure to use our K-Lube® Assembly Lubricant and the Kastalon Installation Nozzle.
  3. Place the roller on an appropriate installation stand, remove one section of Koat-A-Roll® from the oven, and insert the special installation nozzle which is adapted to a standard shop air hose. This air nozzle is available from Kastalon. To help the covering slide over the roller, coat the end of the roller with K-Lube. Kastalon offers K-Lube Assembly Lubricant which is specifically formulated for the installation of Koat-A-Roll® and Vinyl-Koat®.
